I don't even know where to begin. I've been in a rather large slump this summer as far as art goes. *sigh* I've been so puffing busy I can barely find time to do anything and when I'm not busy I'm tired and therefore don't want to do anything. So... I'm only a few weeks away from being completely out of stockpiled comic pages that I've been posting weekly to smackjeeves and have about a quarter page to add to it.
I have about a week to get all my stuff together so I can move back into the dorms, and then classes start and I should probably get a job and I'm taking way too many art classes. Therefore, I have no time and all I want to do is make pretty comics. Oh well. I sat down with my big sketchbook and my fancy B-type pencils and I started a portrait. It's looking pretty good so maybe I'll find some motivation to get things rolling again.
All in all, I've missed that good drawing feeling, and it's good to have it back after a dry summer.

It's been six months. Time for an update!
So here's how it is. I was an art major and now I'm not, but that's okay because now I can do art without the pressure or the soul-crushingness of getting a C on everything I make. Plus, I've been sort of reacquainting myself with the writing side of me, and I realized how much I missed it. My favorite part of art class was when we got to write our own comic. So, art-wise, I'm going to be writing a lot more than drawing for a while. Which is cool, because I don't have to draw :P.
Major-wise, I'm in SOCIAL WORK!!! WOOOO *APPLAUSE* I really love my classes and even though I'm going to be school for three more years instead of two, that's okay
100 Day Drawing Challenge
No big news to report thus far! This semester has gone by crazy fast. Faster than I expected considering nothing really significant is going on. Just blazing through homework, working here and there and trying to find a steady job and an apartment. >.< Okay, maybe that is some big stuff.
But anyway, the art stuff. Last semester I was drawing crazy bunches because I had an insane drawing and painting teacher whose unreasonable workload combined with my illustration professor's obsessive need to make his students draw everything in the universe. In other words, my right wrist nearly died from it all. But since then I've been in kind of a slump
Coming soon:
Massive art dump. I have a whole semester's worth of so-so artwork that I'm going to post as soon as my scanner cooperates. Some of the bigger things are going to be cropped quite a bit, but... meh. They're not that great anyway.
I'm considering ideas for short comics. I want things I can complete in a few weeks or so, because although I don't think this next semester is going to be as work-intensive I still don't think I'm going to have time to work on a huge commitment of a project. That being said, I think this is the last nail in the coffin of The Virals. Poor thing, never got past the first chapter. It's still up on Smackjeeves (where m
I felt like updating something so...
1. First thing you wash in the shower?
My hairs. They're getting quite long, you know.
2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Black and purple
3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
Ah, probably not. No.
4. Do you plan outfits?
Usually, no.
5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
generally apathetic, although a little excited and nervous for tomorrow.
6. Whats the closest thing to you that's red?
I honestly can't find anything red. There is a burgundy sweatshirt nearby.
7. Do you say aim or a-i-m?
Neither. It's ridiculously outdated. :P
8. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
First I was breaking up with a c

Oh man, I know the feeling. D: My writing spirit has just taken a nosedive between work and everything. Hopefully once we get back to school it'll get better.
Good luck with your comic and everything.
